1. The scheme is operated and promoted by H J Everetts (Chemist) Ltd.
2. Your Loyalty card is issued by and remains the property of H J Everetts (Chemist) Ltd.
3. The scheme is open and free of charge to all persons who purchase goods in all participating stores. The company reserves the right to alter products included or excluded from the scheme or to change the number of participating stores at any time. A list of participating stores is available on our website www.everettspharmacy.co.uk
4. Your card can only be used at participating stores.
5a. To apply for a card and take advantage of the scheme you must be aged 16 years or over.
5b. Employees of H J Everetts (Chemist) Ltd and family members who qualify for staff discount, are not eligible to participate in this scheme.
6. Your name and address must be provided for a card to be registered. If you do not register your card you will not be able to redeem your points nor will you be eligible for certain offers and promotions available to card holders.
7. Your card cannot be used as a credit, debit or store card.
8. The scheme is for consumer use only. The card cannot be used for any transaction where the beneficiary is a business entity.
9. The card can only be used by the person who has registered the card. Neither the card nor the points thereon are transferable to other cardholders.
10. If these terms and conditions are breached, or if the company reasonably believes that you have breached these terms and or abused the scheme, your card may be terminated without prior notice. The company reserves the right to take any action deemed necessary where a cardholder is found to have abused the scheme.
11. In addition to 10 above, the company reserves the right to (i) stop issuing cards at any time; (ii) to alter or amend the terms and conditions of operation of the card and or the scheme; and (iii) withdraw or cancel cards and or points (including the redemption and issue of such) and or terminate the scheme. Cardholders have the right to terminate his/her card at any time.
12. If you wish to terminate your card at any time you must inform the company in writing at H J Everett (Chemist) Ltd 42 Bridge Road Park Gate Southampton SO31 7GF or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
13. Lost cards must be reported to your local store and a replacement will be sent to you within 2 weeks. Any points accrued will be automatically transferred to your new card.

How to collect and redeem points

14. To collect points for a transaction, cardholders must present their card at the till at the time of purchase. If you purchase an item without your card, you must produce your till receipt and card within 28 days to the same store and your points will then be added.
15. Points will be awarded for and can be redeemed against any purchases of products in our stores excluding Prescriptions and Services.
16. The company reserves the right to offer bonus points on certain products as selected by the company from time to time in its sole discretion.
17. Card holders will receive points only on qualifying transactions. Points are awarded at a rate of 1 point for every 10p spent. Points are not awarded for purchases less than a whole 10p. The amount of points awarded can be altered at the discretion of the company on reasonable notice to you. The number of points issued may vary between qualifying purchases.
18. Each point accrues a redemption value of ½p against qualifying purchases. The company reserves the right to vary the rates at any time on reasonable notice to you.
19. The minimum number of points required before a redemption transaction can be made is 75 points.
20. Points will usually be accumulated on a card instantly, except in circumstances of system failure when it would be expected that points will be loaded within 1 week. In most circumstance bonus points earned will be loaded onto the card within a maximum of 72 hours from the time of purchase. Points cannot be redeemed until they have been loaded onto the card.  Card holders should retain a copy of their receipt in case of discrepancy.
21. Points have no cash redemption value and cannot be exchanged, sold or transferred. If overpayment is made using points, no change or credit will be given.
22. The company reserve the right to reverse associated points earned or redeemed if a transaction on which points are earned or redeemed is cancelled, reversed or if a refund is given (in accordance with the company Returns Policy) This does not affect your statutory rights.

Data Protection and your details

23. The company will not pass your details on to any third party without your prior consent.
24. By signing up to the scheme and giving us your personal details, card holders will automatically be sent offers, promotions and information from H J Everetts (chemist) Ltd unless notified at the time of registration.
25. We will use your details from an online application to help us manage the scheme more effectively. We will likely contact you with promotions and offers linked to your own spending habits.
26. It is important that your contact details are kept up to date in order that the company can operate the scheme effectively. Please keep details up to date by informing the sales assistant at the time you purchase your goods.


27. If your card is lost or stolen, or for whatever reason not working, you should contact the company immediately. H J Everetts (Chemist) Ltd cannot be held liable for lost or stolen or damaged cards or for any points accrued or redeemed from the card without your knowledge. The Company reserves the right not to issue a replacement card.
28. The scheme can be used in conjunction with other special offers, promotions and or discounts, excluding staff discount. The company reserve the right to withdraw this at any time.
29. The scheme is available to cardholders using participating stores only.
30. If any notice or point in these terms and conditions is declared invalid in whole or in part then only the part shall be deemed invalid and the remaining terms shall not be affected.
31. These terms and conditions and the scheme are subject to the laws of England and Wales.

These points can then be redeemed against future purchases*

1 point is awarded for every 10p you spend, 10 points equals 5p when redeemed against your purchases.

*Points cannot be collected or redeemed against NHS or Private Prescriptions or services provided by the pharmacy.

How to Register for the Loyalty Scheme

Pick up a card in your local branch and fill in your details. You will be given a card with a unique number. Once you have your card you can start collecting points.


I've lost my Card and can't remember the number. Will you still add my points?  Yes if you hand your receipt to the Sales Assistant within 28 days of the purchase. It will be passed to our head office and the points added.

My details have changed. How do I let you know?  Inform the Sales Assistant of your change in details and they will ask you to complete a change of details form.

How do I add points to my Loyalty Card?  Each time you make a purchase and show your card to the Sales Assistant, they will add your points automatically through the till.

Can I use my card immediately? You can use your card immediately, however, points cannot be redeemed until the card is registered and you have accrued a minimum of 75 points.

I've lost my Loyalty Card - are my points safe?  Yes you must report the loss to your nearest branch as soon as possible and they will advise you on how to get a new card. Once a new card has been issued your points are automatically transferred over.

How many points will I collect?  1 point is awarded for every 10p you spend.

What is a point worth?  10 points equals 5p when redeemed against your purchases.

How long will it be before I get my points?  Provided you show your card at the time of purchase your points are added immediately.

Do I collect points on everything I spend? No, there are exemptions to the scheme. No points are awarded for NHS & Private Prescriptions; service provided by the pharmacy or associated organisations such as clinics and advise services.  

Can I spend my points at other shops?  No, these points can only be spent at H J Everetts (Chemist) Ltd.

Where can I see how many points I've collected on my purchases?  When you give your card to the Sales Assistant they can tell you then how many points you have accrued.

What happens to the points if I cancel my purchase or ask for a refund?  H J Everetts (Chemist) Ltd reserve the right to reverse the point’s transaction if goods are returned.

How will they know it’s me? Customers will be asked to confirm their name and address when redeeming points. However H J Everetts (Chemist) Ltd cannot be held liable should your card be used fraudulently
